Faces is new project I have started. It will feature people I find inspiring, strong and beautiful inside and out.
Meet Yolanda Alutha Wyatt. My first feature and the muse for most of my paintings (Yes y'all, sometimes I paint). A strong[willed], determined, beautiful black woman.
Lust and Divinity
Even though she screams God! Underneath strange sheets she finds it hard to smile from temple to temple with those unclean hands that offer her body more than her mind at a mere man’s altar.
She burns nicotene for her burnt offerings because the calmness is forgiving. Alutha found lust and God rapped around the same Sunday nights and decided it was a gift that could never go wrong.
She could never see what morality had to do with christianity or what chastity had to do with sanctity so she went on until one day she woke up and realised that there will come a time when she wont even be able to buy a loaf of bread if she sold her soul.
