Proportions are for lames!
Okay, I'm kidding. Following classic proportions almost ensure a flattering silhouette and make one look quite effortlessy polished. That being said, falling out of the mould occassionally and taking the oppurtunity to be a little more risky can prove to be rewarding. So next time you are getting ready for a girls night, school, work or any other engagement, opt for the odd, unconventional lenghts and see where it goes...
Long Coat: Marko*
KN Alanis Cut Away Crop Top: Cotton On
Shorts: DIY (Similar at Topshop)
Creepers: Mr. Price (better at Topshop)
*Made a great saving on this beautiful long coat. Don't retrict yourself to overprice brand stores, some of the real treasures are found in the most unlikely places :)

Oh, if you ever find your self in Hatfield, stop by Habbly Cafe across from Burger King. They have the most amazing spathlo stand I've ever been to. For those that don't know what a spathlo (a.k.a kota) is, it's a South African 'township' sandwich made from a hollowed out quarter loaf of bread and filled with chips, cheese, polony, egg, russian, lettuce and atchar.
