Tackling Mondays

Mondays are notoriously known for being demanding, exhausting and simply put, 'the worst day of the week'. I believe with the right attitude, anyone can get through any Monday with all teeth intact. Starting the week as stress-free as possible could set the tone for the rest of the week. Here are some of the tips I have to help make Mondays a little more manageable
1. Prepare
A good Monday starts on a Sunday. Make sure that you get all the work you need to have ready for Monday done during your Sunday afternoon, drink lots of water and sleep early to get your full eight hours of rest. Treat Sunday as your spiritual, physical and mental recharge day so when you wake up the next day, you feel refreshed, revitalised and ready to handle what may come your way.
2. Have Your Breakfast
I know it is a habit for many to rush out of the house with an empty stomach and coffee flask in hand. I used to do just that but I realised that it has a terrible effect on the body. Working on an empty belly is unhealthy and can drain you both physically and metally. It is added stress. Have a full breakfast with at least one fruit, it will keep you energised throughout the day.
3. Dress Good to Feel Good
I prefer to start my Monday looking good and yet feeling comfortable mainly because I do a lot of running around. Usually, I wear a pair of sneakers or flats to make things a little easier. I also try not to make the mistake of sacrificing style for comfort as it is important to find the balance. Once you look good, you will feel good and feeling good makes one do good.
4. Start with Purpose and Positivity
Lastly, start the day with a positive message and a goal in mind. This should be done every day actually, it helps focus and orientate you for the day. It may seem silly at first but you try it enough times and you will start to notice the difference in you days.
I hope this does help with managing you Mondays and that you all find them a little less challenging
